“Wendy introduced me to ceramics as I had never has the opportunity to make anything in clay previously. She created a two day course for myself and a colleague so we could teach 3D ceramics to KST 3 students. She taught us a variety of techniques and skills which have all been used in school. She taught me how to load and set up the kiln as well as going through different firing programmes. She is an inspiring teacher as she ensures you understand the different processes. Since my first course with Wendy I have further developed my own practise with her and made smoke fired orbs as well as a large bespoke utensil pot for my kitchen. The studio is a large space in the country with lovely views and very well equipped.”
