Unleash Your Creativity with Garden-Inspired Pottery
Join us this summer for a relaxed and inspiring pottery workshop in the heart of Fowey. Over four days, you’ll have the opportunity to create beautiful and practical ceramic pieces for your garden — from whimsical mushrooms to elegant poppy seed heads.
Whether you’re a beginner or a returning maker, this is your chance to enjoy clay, creativity, and community with experienced ceramicist Wendy Yates.

With gentle guidance, you’ll hand-build your pieces using a variety of clay techniques. Our fish-on-sticks project is a particular favourite — fun to make and stunning in rockeries or pots!
Workshop Times & Pricing
Choose from:
Half-Day Sessions (2.5 hours)
Times: 10am–12:30pm or 2pm–4:30pm
Cost: £50 per session
Includes all materials, firing, and refreshments.
Full-Day Experience
Time: 10am–4:30pm (includes 1.5hr lunch break)
Cost: £80 per day
Spend a full day immersed in creativity. Perfect if you’re visiting Fowey or want to make multiple pieces.
Postage of completed pieces, if required, is available at a minimal charge.
Glazing & Finishing Options
You’re welcome to return to the studio for a follow-up session to glaze your creations — or you can choose to glaze during another CREATE workshop.

Wheel-Throwing Sessions
Duration: 60 minutes
Cost: £30
Never tried wheel throwing? This is your chance! Book a one-hour session to create your very own bowl (or two!). We provide everything — clay, tools, apron, and guidance.
Can’t commit to a slot? Turn up on the day, and if there’s a space, you’re welcome to hop on the wheel. Finished pots can be glazed in a colour of your choice and posted to you for a small fee.
